Many friends are very exciting when they discover us in the Internet. Some of them would like to visit us in the future. Some of them are on their way to China. We have received many visitors from all over the world. They know what we are doing and how we are doing.

 According to our experience with the visitors, we have encountered the following kinds.

1, Tourists, many of those tourists are waldorf school or kindergarten teachers or parents of waldorf schools, or anthroposophical works related people.  When they plan to travel in China, they try to make a stop in Chengdu and find out how we are. There are some tourists are in the tour group and skipped the group and made a day visit us. 

A typical tourist will contact us by email: waldorfcd@gmail.com, and arrange a visit. It is usually around takes 2 hours up to a full day. It depends on how our day goes on that day. 

2, working visitors, many of our friends have been supporting us for many years living out side China. Those friends often raise funds, collect materials for our school or offer teaching in our training program. They are part of our working group, but not physically live in China.  Some of them have taught in our school more then once, they are continually coming. We are very much depending on those support. There are some kind of destiny involve that those friends become a part of the movement in China.

3, Volunteers, there are many young people would like to work in our school as a volunteers for a short time. We do except one Germany young man for a year very year. They are doing social service abroad instead of military service. We also have some waldorf graduate come for a few weeks. They often stay with a parent of school. They come to the school with the children and leave in the end of the day.  They will be asked to do some old jobs if they are able. Most of them assist teachers.  They get a free food and lodge from our parents.

4, Students, We have been accepting foreign students since the beginning. There ages are from kindergarten to 12 grades.  They come for a month to a year or two.  Many of them are adopted Chinese girls who want to get back to Chinese culture by their parents.  There are 5 of those in our school right now. There are some Chinese who live abroad also want the same. The older student who do not have a grade to go in our school, will have one teacher alone. They will be treat as equal as other Chinese students. We also offer extra Chinese language lesson and pay extra fee. Please see the foreign students.

5, working, we hire teachers from abroad. They are mainly German and English teachers. They also speak basic Chinese. They get the highest pay in the school; it will be enough to live in China but not in their home country. We are looking for Eurythmist who can teach in Chinese. We love to have those who take a year off from the teaching to work with our teachers side by side.
